Okay, good morning. Welcome to the Bloomfield Township Election Commission meeting of Monday, March 2nd. Let's please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, and liberty and justice for all. Well, we have called you here today for one very quick item, and it is to talk about how we're going to be doing absolute voting ballot counting. But before we do that, I'll open public comment. Seeing none, I will close public comment. And then for item number three, as you know, this commission has adopted a resolution in the past setting forth that the township would use an absentee voting counting board to count absentee ballots. There's two ways to do this. That's one way. The other way is absentee ballots can be counted in the precinct by the inspectors tabulating them in the tabulator directly at the precinct. For this May 5th election, because it's one precinct only, which will be held in this room on May 5th, we're recommending that we suspend the standing resolution. If you should always have. Well, our request went by and close. This will be a 15th mission, this is not an answer to you, well史. of this board to count absentee ballots in the precinct instead of with an absentee voting counting board. Reason is one, it's more efficient with just one precinct rather than calling together an absentee voting counting board, and two, it's an opportunity for us to experience a different process and continue to grow in our education about how to administer elections in all different kinds of circumstances. So, any questions? No, that sounds like a wise choice, actually. Okay, well, thanks. Would I entertain a motion then? So moved. Support. All those in favor? Aye. Aye. Motion carries. It's a very official meeting. So, yeah, there's only one thing left to do. Wait a minute. Oh, wait a minute. Oh, thank you. We need to approve the minutes. And then also, item one, which I skipped right over, is to approve the minutes in the last meeting of October 23rd, 2020. I make a motion we approve those minutes. Support. All those in favor? Aye. Any opposed?

It's a move to motion to adjourn. Support. All those in favor? Aye. Okay, we're adjourned. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
